Well how do you start explaining awesome. This place is perfectly located with exactly the atmosphere of old San Juan. I do not want to recommend this for the budget traveller. But i do want to recommend this for the traveller that wants GREAT at fair cost. I love this place. As in would move in upstairs. I am coning back. Please be here.

Great spot for a low-key evening, even as the bass begins to thrum at the joint up the street ... Wonderful food, all around.

Bodega Chic is hands down the best hidden secret of Old San Juan! Beautiful restaurant with amazing, creative dishes, and a friendly staff.

Fantastic. The menu has a little of this and that. We ordered from the list of specials, a small plate of pear and blue cheese stuffed ravioli and the entrée of grouper over grilled zucchini and artichokes in a basil cream sauce. The french fries were as good as advertised, and the mojitos deserve an endorsement as well. I am guessing everything here would taste inspired and pleasing. Cap it off with friendly service, good music, and ample bar offerings. I'd be surprised if the dining room could seat more than 20 people at a time, so while the ambience isn't uptown, neither is it too loud or impersonal.

My wife and I just had an amazing dinner here. The seafood was unique and truly delicious. We loved the eclectic decor and the friendly, laid-back staff.
