Really good service and good snacks!
The owner took our orders (we had olices, bread, carrot salad and tunacream), and was really friendly, having a little chat with us. In the end he recommended to go inside and have a look on the historic building, where he told us about its history. Beautiful house!

As some reviewers said, service was slow. They did apologise for it in the menu because they make it fresh. We were 4 diners. I had the lamb, which was great. Octopus shrimp curry was good. Monk fish was pretty good.
We liked the chorizo appetizer. The Apple crumble was great for dessert. The outside dining was great. We were her on a 75 degree day on early October. Overall was great for a touristy place in a touristy town.

Had the recommended dish by the waiter. A sort of sea food stew in a traditional pot (don't remember the name) but it was really good and the best meal I've had in Portugal.

We had amazing evening there. Great food and very friendly waitress.. We went back the next day morning!

Great food and service.
The servings are in my opinion very large. Too large to comfortably eat a 4 course meal.
Of course the American next to us complained about the meals being too small...
You can't please all the people all the time!
The meals were interesting and different from all others we had whilst in Portugal. It was a pleasant surprise to find this delightful little restaurant.
