I havent been to the shops but the 'gasoline boys' here are almost always friendly.. they always ask if your car needs water or some windshield wiping for free (but of course give them some tip for a job well done hehe)

My wife always buys some freshly baked bread from the stores located within the property while i fill-up on gas. Very limited parking area.
