horrible restaurant, over rated for food & service. nice deco. i definitely won't go & recommend, just a waste of money.

Went there on Saturday afternoon for the buffet, the food was above average, thats for sure. But its definitely not "good" yet.
Service was horribly slow - I ordered like 10-15 things for the buffet and in the end, i got miserably 3 - 5 things that came.
Also, the bottomless juice - its not really bottomless. I had managed to get it refilled only once - I been requesting it eversince I bottomed up the drink and the waitress kept promising that a new one will be given but theres none.
Also, I really do not like the way the head-waitress handle the situation when I lodge the complain.
I told her that the things that I have ordered has not been delivered after 45 minutes+ and she kept telling me that its on the way, the chefs are grilling the food, etc etc.
Only to return to me 15 minutes later telling me that everythnig I ordered were served, with no evidence or whatsoever. And after I insisted that there were one or two items I clearly remembered ordering only did she promised to bring me those dishes.
I would make a big fuss about it in the dining place, demanding for an explanation if I wasnt the guest of honor that day.
If you are looking for good food, but lousy service, be my guest, Gonbei is the way to go. If you are looking for great food and excellent service, Gonbei is the last place I'd recommend. Not worth the bucks to dine there.
