Me and my colleague decided to have a late dinner on that evening and decided to go to the Befed Pub. Well, it’s very particular to say the least. As you come in, you immediately notice that there are peanuts shells crushed all over the place. I’m not being funny but it can be slippery and quite frankly, I don’t adhere to their attempt to show how “casual” this place is. I understand that they want to show that “mess” to prove they’re warm to their curstomers but it’s a no-no. Food wise, I’ve ordered some roastered chicken with crisps. Once again, average. The sauce was good, the chicken crispy and well cooked but the overall dish was way too salted, both me and my colleague couldn’t eat half of it. As for the beers, maybe I wasn’t very lucky about that locally brewed lager I’ve ordered but it wasn’t the best beer I’ve ever tasted in my life either. The service staff was nice, especially the men behind the bar. Pricing is reasonable.

Mains before starters, make it clear when ordering which one you want first, main cause returned and kept warm then returned, burger was cold, chicken was lovely and the manager did explain when when paying the different cultures and deducted the price of the burger, large friendly pub with free monkey nuts where you throw the shells on the floor,
