My wife and I loved this place! The service was great, very friendly. The food we had was amazing. My wife had the ravioli which was about 4" squares. I had the lasagna, which was unlike anything I've ever had. The lasagna is only available on certain days though. If you're in the area and hungry, you should check them out!

This little hidden gem is located right behind the Vatican City wall. The food was amazing! Best we've had all week. The service was great, they spoke English which was very nice of them because they don't have to. I would go back there in a heart beat! Prices were good too. I read some reviews from people that were not satisfied and honestly I could not understand where the negativity came from. Seriously. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed! Freshly made house pasta cooked to perfection. My very picky 8yr old ate more in one evening there than he did all week elsewhere! Thank you La Rustichella for an unforgettable last meal in Rome!

My family and I recently stayed in Rome and ate at La Rustichella three times while there. The food was delicious, with quite generous portions and our waiter, Gregory, was superb! We never ran out of food or beverage until we were ready for our checks. I highly recommend this restaurant; try it and you won't leave disappointed! Oh, and be sure to ask for their spinach ravioli! It tastes like angels dancing on your tongue! :)
