Hotel room was not nice enough to spend any time in. It was dark and was more suitable for someone on business who just needed a clean bed for the night. The balcony was off the bathroom - which reception helped us find - and was minimal with no seating.
Daytime receptionist was unfriendly and mostly ignored us but remained polite. Communication became awkward.
We didn't find a lounge or communal area but went out into Nice early.

It was a very nice hotel for the price and an easy walk to both vieux Nice and the port. Reception was very friendly and I appreciated the early check-in times offered as well as the secured luggage storage after checkout. The free beach towels were also very helpful.

Great little hotel. Good central location everything within walking distance. Friendly staff and very comfortable beds. Would stay again.

The stay was great. The location superb right behind place massena and very close to the beach. Within walking distance from the station. The staff was very friendly and a few of them spoke Italian.

I traveled with my girlfriend and we booked the Medium room from their website. This was perfect as the Standard rooms, as we saw later, were at the 1st floor near the breakfast area and could've been very noisy during the morning (this is also written on their website).
The room was cleaned everyday and was spacious. I gave the hotel 4/5 because there were 2 things we didn't like about the room. The WiFi signal was very low and every time we would come back after a whole day we would have to open the window as there was a damp smell in the room.
The location was perfect, central, 5-10 minutes walk to the beach, old town, restaurants, train station (from which you can go anywhere on the coast).
Breakfast was served in a small area at the 1st floor and it was okay. Not that much variety but tasty.
The reception staff were helpful and explained to us on the 1st night some things about our location (where is old town / train station / beach) and what to do nearby.
All in all, a very good hotel with a great location to explore Nice and the whole coast.
