I love this hotel. The staff here are so friendly. I was checking out of my room and I forgot a pillow I had bought on one of those Great Wall tours where they take you to all the shops and try to get you to buy stuff. When I was checking out they stopped me and tried to tell me I had forgotten a pillow. At first I didn't know what they were saying because I was hearing 针头 which means "needle" but really they were saying 枕头... Pillow! It looked the same as the hotel pillows but they were very observant and got it back to me. Was worth a good $70 so I'm glad they did. This hotel also has lots of cheap drinks for sale and it's one of the few hotels in the area that accepts foreigners. But it was a great place to stay and I had a good night's sleep.
