We couldn't believe we found a punk bar in Beijing. Heard some great local bands on our visit there. If i am in Beijing again this would be on my nightly itenerary.
Two story. Sitting rooms, bar and of course, the band area with room to dance.

Best live punk music bar (we have left) in Beijing hands down. Shows are ON almost every night of the week...at least Thursday to Sunday. The bar owner used to be the bass player of Joyside (One of the earliest punk bank in china). We spoke to him and he was very friendly and humble. The bar tenders are also very helpful and professional. The prices of drinks and snacks are reasonable and the prices of ticket to shows are mostly around 40-50 RMB. In my opinion very much worth it.
Me and by partner went there almost everyday for a period of 1month. We had a great time every time. Saw some great music and met some great people each time.
Many foreigners goes to this bar and many great young talents from china and from else where use it as a home base. However please respect the bar and don't do drugs other then alcohol and cigarettes. Don't get the bar in trouble, we want it to continue to exist.

Side note-
Guys, especially foreign visitors, please keep your privilege in check and especially guys, please keep your hands to yourself and don't do/say anything disrespectful to the people around u. I have encountered several incidents of white male privilege and obnoxious behaviors towards the Chinese ladies in the bar. I also witnessed an entire foreigner band dominating the stage and destroying the equipments that belonged to the bar. By dominating I mean making it unsafe for others to be there. They were so aggressive and violent that I and many people felt unsafe to stay and watch. So we all went to the other room while the (100% straight white male) band showed off their techniques and their masculinity. That sort of behavior disgusts me.
And to make it clear and there are many other foreign musicians playing there and I have absolutely zero problem when they are respectful. It's not who you are it's how you behave that makes it a problem.
