We finally tried it after hearing good reviews but were really disappointed. We had to wait for an hour and didn’t get anything served while we were waiting whereas the other people did get some starters. We asked if we could order and were told to wait for our table. The waiter was really rude and overall it was a very bad experience for us. We wouldn’t be going here or visit other Vij Restaraunt as it seems it just a brand that doesn’t delivers for the price and is way overvalued. There are so many better Indian restaurants out there and I would avoid this place if you don’t want to have your experience ruined.

A fabulous experience from the moment we walked in the door. Excellent service, complimentary nibbles and chai to get us going. The food was scrumptious! A wonderful evening. Thanks to all the attentive staff, kitchen crew and, of course, Vij!

This is one of our go to restaurants for Indian food. Vij, has added an interesting option to the menu. The mains can be half size for a reduced price. This makes it easier to order more dishes for two people.
The service here is excellent and he has some of the best staff in Vancouver.

Loved the experience! the food was the best Indian food I have ever had and I have been to many other restaurants! the quality of the food is top class and the servers do an amazing job! Delicious desserts and curries!

Food was great as expected. Our service started off great. Friendly, fast and efficient. We really enjoyed the samples! Then our experience worsened. I'm pretty sure our waitress forgot to put our mains order in as we watched tables beside us get their food, eat and even get their cheque before we got our dinner. I would accept this if our server acknowledged the fault but thus was not the case. We don't eat out very often and were let down tonight. Sorry Vij, probably won't be back.
