Great shop. The staff are extremely helpful and are always happy to assist. They have an amazing range of comics, from the big mainstream ones to the lesser known ones.

As a female comic fan, it can be hard to find a shop that's both highly knowledgeable and respectful (I've had some very bad experiences with comic/nerd shops before). West End Comics is not just knowledgeable, but they have never once talked down to me, are always ready with a great suggestion (regardless of what you're looking for) and are consistently friendly and professional. As a longtime comic collector, they're happy to order back issues/volumes whenever possible and as a newcomer to a monthly pull-list, they're also happy to explain everything you need to know. Even though they're a small shop, they make a great effort to be well-equipped with not only major titles, but important minor titles as well and if there's something you can't find, they can generally order it with little to no hassle. I really like this place, and was relieved that my new local comic shop was this good.

The best comic book store in all the land, bar none. Great deals, events, and perfect for people, dareisay other ladies and minorities looking to get into comics but might feel kind of out of place, or are unsure where to start. Introduce yourself to the friendly crew, and they will start you on a magical journey.

I've been going to a bunch of comic shops lately to grab some $1 comics and I thoroughly had a great experience at this spot.
I had called earlier to see if they had any Inhumans Vs Xmen in stock and a $1 comic collection and was pleased to have a response of yes to both questions. Haven't had much luck with certain shops that will remain unknown, so I had to check this place out.
I was only walking around for about 2 minutes before one of the employees who had come in right from their break asked me if I was looking for anything in particular. You'd think most places would have customer service like this, so simple, to just even check up on customers, but it has been scarce.
I was pleased to have been assisted with my search to complete my collections, and their surplus of discounted comics. I wasn't pushed into buying anything, my wait for assistance was little, the employees AND another customer in the store were also quite friendly which sets the tone for this shop.
If you're looking for a customer service oriented shop that provides an abundance of discounted comics, then this is the place.
