Had lunch there for second time, both times excellent, ingredients very fresh wholesome and flavourful. Even 'mainstream' eaters will enjoy the subtle flavours of these Afghani - inspired dishes

This place is a hidden gem. The restaurant itself is very clean and cozy. The food is absolutely delicious, so much flavor you just can't get enough of it. The portions are big and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. If you don't want to pay overpriced mediocre meals like in downtown, try this place, you won't regret it.

This little restaurant, housed in a non discript mall, is one of Kingston's best kept secrets. The food is authentic middle eastern. The rice and salads are to die for. We are definitely going back, we still have several items on the menu to savour.
Like any good middle eastern restaurant, you are always filled up with savoury sweet tea..
Undoubtedly family run, the service is slow, and laid back, as eating is in other parts of the world and how it should be here.
Excellently prepared, all dishes are eloquently presented. The flavours are wonderful to the palette.
If you are a person of the world, try it, you will enjoy it!

Amazing... AMAZING food and great ambiance and authentic feel. The portions for the family plates for 5 are very generous, I'd even say too much rice. And they are delicious. The complimentary tea before the meal is great and tasty too. And I really enjoyed the falafels. I don't often go to the same restaurant too often, but we liked it so much, we went 2 days in a row. If service is something you are obsessed about though rather than food quality, note that it can be very slow at busy times. The first night we went, we kept joking that our food would probably be ready the following day, but we were a party of 17, and frankly, the restaurant had only one waitress for the whole restaurant with a bunch of other support staff that flitted in and out. The food fully made up for the slow speed though, and the staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be back next time we drive through this neck of the province.

Wonderful food! I'm often disappointed when eating out because I don't feel the food is worth the price. That has NEVER been the case for this restaurant! The meals here are worth every penny! Every meal I have tried is made to perfection, each element beautifully crafted with traditional spices and fresh ingredients. This restaurant is an excellent representation of the Afghan culture through food - a must try for everyone!
