Very nice place to meet up with friends and colleagues. Not too noisy, a small band provides live music after 10pm that you can dance to and sing along with. Serves a wude range of alcoholic beverages at a reasonable price. You can smoke after 11pm, but only outside on the balcony. Serves a variety of dishes up to 11pm. Staff are very warm, pleasant and welcoming.

Great food, good service.

Have eaten at The Pickled Onion more times than I care to remember over the years and the food, whilst good, was nothing to rave about.

But we recently visited for lunch after an absence of maybe 2 years and we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of both the food and service. (In fact my wife said, 'Can we come back again tomorrow?')

Their Bermuda Fish Chowder rates a special mention - it's now up there with the best on the Island. Well done!

Update: we visited for lunch again two weeks later, on my wife's insistence (she raves over their Super Food Salad). Again my Chowder was superb, but unfortunately my Quiche was tasteless and just 'blah'. (I have thus amended my original 5 * rating down to **** - sorry).

Good food, good atmosphere. Would definitely go back.
We walked in and were seated right away. The staff had excellent food and drink suggestions and were familiar with the island when we asked questions. They offer indoor and outdoor seating
