Eger is one of the most beautiful baroque
city of Hungary only 1, 5 hours’ drive from Budapest.
In the course of a walking
city tour in
Eger we visit the Basilica, Széchenyi main street with the impressive baroque houses, Minaret (from the Turkish time), ruins of the Castle, Dobó István square with the Minorite Church
and the Marcipan Museum of
Eger. Before we pass on we give you some free time to have a coffee or a cake in one of the atmospheric café of
Eger. We then take you to an excellent winery
and wish to invite you for a
wine tasting (5-6 different wines) accompanied by a delicious Hungarian "peasant dish"
and a Goulash Soup.
The
tour ends in Budapest at your hotel or location.
