Good experience of trekking desired.
Mustang, formerly known as part of Tibet, is an enclave in the Nepalese territory. Under the age of an easy-going "little king", this country was opened
to treks only since 1992. For a long time it was completely closed, and only some Ideologists like Michel PEISSEL or Giuseppe TUCCI could reach it. Situated 50kms behind the massifs of Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri, this legendary and secret country, comprises of vast stretches of water and of yellow and grey rocks, of cave-dwellers in the red cliffs, of immense canyons where sometime blow the violent winds and the surprisingly fortified capital of Lho-Manthang. This little kingdom of Tibetan culture possesses several active monasteries that still enclose the treasures of Buddhist arts. ( From 5
to 7h 30 of walk per day)
