Brilliant weekend for the family. Would definitely recommend this place if you like camping and outdoor activities. Do not go if you do not like insects or other small creatures because you will find many

Very good cabins, although equipment quality varies depending on which cabin you are in

The review by Oscar is a bit unfair. This is group with a budget of £22.00/day for 3 meals + accommodation + use of facilities. The menus are pre agreed with NCS and are designed to be plain wholesome food.
The kitchen and staff are monitored by the council and are up to standard.
L & A can provide several testimonials from thousands of happy customers including my group who stay there several times a year.

I stayed here with NCS (youth programme) in the L&A cabins. The food is atrocious, and all served on paper plates with plastic cutlery. The cabins were okay except for the showers not having a drain or floor mat, they quickly resembled a bog due to 10 people being to a cabin. The surrounding area is nice, with it being inside a valley and being alongside a stream. There are many midges and bugs in the summer and I would highly recommend bug repellant. There is no phone coverage in most places apart from on Three in a few select locations. There is free WiFi with a password.
